MICHAEL CARAMAGNO

PRINCIPAL

Michael is an Illinois CPA with nearly two decades of industry and public accounting experience. He’s worked for national and local CPA firms, in large corporate tax departments, and has served as CFO of a medical technology start-up. Michael excels in the areas of taxation, accounting, mergers/acquisitions, and consulting matters in a wide variety of industries.

He founded Caramagno + Associates in 2013 to follow his passion for supporting small business owners and entrepreneurs. Caramagno + Associates is designed to provide the support and knowledge that visionaries need to ensure they capitalize on every opportunity to fully achieve their goals and dreams.

MARIA VINTILA

SENIOR TAX CONSULTANT

Maria joined Caramagno + Associates in 2018. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and is an Enrolled Agent. She has more than 15 years of experience in tax preparation, accounting, and payroll services for medium and small businesses. She is certified in QuickBooks Online and Xero.

She loves tax and accounting work almost as much as she loves chocolate; she enjoys figuring out where all the pieces go and looking at the bigger picture for clients. In her career, she had the opportunity to work with a wide range of clients, each requiring different solutions. This has allowed her to improve her research skills and come up with customized solutions for each client.
